First, we can learn that Charlie was on a mission from God to save our youth. There is no doubt that he was a evangelist. Our college students have been in trouble for years. Instead of learning what they need to be successful in life many of them have been taught things that could keep them from eternity with God.
Even in his death Charlie’s voice is still being heard through his wife, Erika Kirk and the organization he started Turning Point USA. The day his killer or killers took his life they thought that day would end his Godly mission however it just intensified the mission he had started.
Charlie did not hate the ones he debated with in fact it was just the opposite. Charlie had a deep faith along with a heart full of love for the young adults of the world. He saw evidence of teachings that were less than moral. The teachings in some colleges did not teach the word of God. Charlie spoke about family. Many young adults are not wanting to have children themselves. They are pursuing the “college life” without a plan for family. They are leaning towards abortion or transforming into the opposite sex. Many colleges today and even grade schools are supporting these choices. Charlie wanted to help the young adults by teaching them the word of God and the family importance through healthy debate.
Many did not agree with Charlie however he welcomed them to a friendly debate regardless. Charlie was not racist. Charlie had a true heart for these young adults. The media misrepresented Charlie and Turning Point. Many media stations spread the lies so much that they created a hate so strong that one day someone or more than one ended Charlie’s voice with just one bullet.
It is my opinion that word got out that Charlie could possibly run for president one day. Just as many hate President Trump in the oval office, I believe they hated the influence Charlie had at the White House. Of course this is just my opinion.
Charlie has taught us how important it is to be the voice for our young adults. He was not afraid to call out colleges on what they were teaching. He was not afraid to speak about God’s word. He knew the dangers and he was willing to put his life at risk for both. He taught the young generation about the importance of family. He welcomed debate on hard subjects. Charlie was not a man or hate. He would have helped the very one accused of killing him.
Thank you, Charlie, for your sacrifice. We will make sure your message is spread across the nations. Thank you, Erika, and thank you Turning Point for not backing down when evil tried to stop you.
